Privacy Policy for StatMax

StatMax ("the app," "we," "us") is a live Australian rules football statistics tracker. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use it. The short version: StatMax doesn't collect, transmit, or share any of your data, because it doesn't need to — everything the app does happens entirely on your own device.

1. No account, no registration

StatMax does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use any feature. There is no login system in the app.

2. What data StatMax stores, and where

Everything you enter or capture in StatMax — team names, match details, every tapped action, your saved matches, and your app preferences — is stored locally on your own device only. None of it is transmitted to us, to Apple, or to any third party. We have no server, no database, and no way to see your data at all.

This data stays on your device until you delete it yourself (by clearing a match, deleting a saved game, or deleting the app), or until you choose to export or share it yourself using your device's own share sheet — at which point that choice, and what happens to the exported file afterward, is entirely up to you.

3. No internet connection required

StatMax works fully offline. Capturing a match, viewing statistics, saving and resuming, exporting to CSV, and generating a written report or a shareable graphic all happen without any network connection.

4. The in-app help assistant

StatMax includes an in-app help assistant that answers questions about how the app works. On supported devices, this uses Apple's on-device Foundation Models technology; on other devices, it uses a built-in, on-device lookup instead. Either way, your questions are processed entirely on your own device and are never sent to us, to Apple's servers, or to any other party.

5. No analytics, no advertising, no tracking

StatMax does not include any analytics software development kit, crash-reporting service, advertising network, or tracking technology of any kind. We do not know how you use the app, and we do not want to — nothing about your usage is collected in the first place.

6. Children's privacy

StatMax does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information from any user at all.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that does involve data leaving your device — we'll update this page and change the "Last updated" date above. We'd only make such a change alongside a genuine change to what the app actually does, not silently.
